Yala is Sri Lanka's best-known national park, famous for leopards, elephants and birdlife. Most guests stay in Tissamaharama or a lodge near the gate and enter in the early morning.
It is a long drive from Colombo, so many guests spend a night on the way or fly to Mattala instead. Safari jeeps are arranged separately, and we can help.
