Day tour
Anuradhapura Ancient City Day Tour

Walk through the first great capital of Sri Lanka, where enormous white and brick stupas rise above the plains and pilgrims still bring flowers each morning. A private driver means you can cover the scattered sites without a long walk between them.
We plan the day around the heat: the biggest monuments early, a shaded lunch, then the sacred fig tree and quieter ruins when the light turns soft. Dress modestly and carry something to slip on and off your feet.
Highlights
- Giant stupas such as Ruwanwelisaya and Jetavanaramaya
- The sacred Sri Maha Bodhi fig tree
- Ancient pools, palaces and carved moonstones
- A driver who waits while you explore

How should I dress for the sacred sites?
Cover your shoulders and knees, and expect to go barefoot on the grounds of active temples. A light scarf is handy.
Can I combine this with Sigiriya?
Yes. The two sit in the same region, so many guests pair them across two days. Tell us your dates and we will plan the route.
How do I book it and what does it cost?
Message us on WhatsApp with your date, group size and pick-up point and we will send a quote. Entrance fees, boats and similar costs are paid separately unless your quote says otherwise.
