Village Safari Experience
A village safari takes you off the main road to see everyday rural life: a bullock cart ride, a catamaran boat across a village tank and a home-cooked meal in a family compound. It is a slower, more personal side of the island.
We handle transport, and the village hosts take over from there. Be ready to eat with your hands if offered, and to meet the household with an open mind.

Is the food spicy?
Often, but hosts will adjust if you tell them. Mention allergies and preferences when you book.
Is it a good fit after a day of climbing?
Yes. It is gentle and mostly seated, a good counterpoint to a Sigiriya climb.
