Day tour
Geoffrey Bawa Architecture Day Tour
Geoffrey Bawa is the architect most associated with tropical modernism in Sri Lanka, and several of his best-known houses, gardens and hotels lie along the south-west coast. This day is a private route between them, planned around opening times.
Some places are private homes or working hotels, so visits are by arrangement and sometimes by ticket. Tell us your interests and we will line up what is open on your date, with time for tea in a garden or on a verandah.
Highlights
- Garden estates with terraces, ponds and framed views
