Wilpattu is the largest national park in Sri Lanka, a mosaic of forest and natural lakes known locally as villus. It has a reputation for leopards and sloth bears, and it is quieter than the better-known southern parks.

We arrange the jeep and the transfer so you can start at first light. Sightings are never guaranteed, but patient drives along the lake edges are often rewarded with deer, birds and elephants.
